Ted's Place is derived from an acronym for our family members, Tien, Emma and Duane. Our dear friends when visiting us, would say "Let's go to Ted's Place..." and from there they would enjoy some fabulous wines with us and so the phrase stuck.

Ted's Place is our own range of wines sourced from the most suitable grapes from within our network of suppliers to bring you quality wines from the best regions resulting in a product that is not only quality but also good value.
Our current range includes:
- Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand;
- Merlot from Langhorne Creek, South Australia
- Sparkling NV wine from South Eastern Australia
- Pinot Gris from Limestone Coast, South Australia
- Moscato from South Australia; and
- Shiraz from South Australia

Gwen and Oscar at the beach....
Gwen could not believe her eyes, was this woman really topless? And right in front of her? Looking directly at her as if to know her? Slowly it dawned on Gwen that she had been looking for far too long. Particularly after Oscar had not even noticed what assets this woman had. Gwen's staring, now deemed to be perving, was simply a case of Mistaken Identity.
The Wine
A terrific example of New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc. From the Wairarapa region of the North Island, this wine is a mix of fresh fruity flavours . Enjoy all year round!
Ted's Place Windy Dam Day Merlot
Out to Impress...
Oscar was out to impress that morning. Arriving at the beach early enough to score the best parking spot. Dressed in his finest pair of trunks, shirt unbuttoned and brand new boater upon his head. He walked with pride across the hot sand, holding the striped umbrella that would soon cast a shadow across his brow. However, everything changed in a split second, just another "Windy Dam Day".
The Wine
This Merlot will tantalise your taste buds. For those who are like Goldilocks, and prefer something that is not too heavy and not too light, our Windy Dam Day Merlot is just right!

Out to Impress...
Carol was not one to get over excited about many things, but a day at the beach was certainly going to be nice. What she was really excited about was being in swimmers. The hat, the pearls the glasses and the bangles would all take a back seat today to that great floral printed one piece that used to fit so well. But now, seemed to be... "one size too small."

Lincoln likes to have all the bases covered in everything he does. A Sunday at the beach would be no different. There will be no what if’s? in Lincoln’s day. There will only be why nots.
The bodyboard, beach ball, umbrella, towel, snorkel, bats, sunscreen, flippers, mask, sunglasses and lunch... All sorted. Over catered indeed.
The Wine
Ted's Place With All the Fixins Pinot Gris is sweet, and has spicy tropical fruit aromas. It has low acidity, medium alcohol levels, and a rich texture. Sourced from our Australian winemakers, you will definitely enjoy this Pinot Gris with your favourite meal!

“When it’s hot you need Roy. Handsome, broad chested, well dressed and boy ohh boy could he hold that little orange umbrella just right. Always one small step behind to ensure her shade was near perfect!
Sunny Saturdays they would walk the promenade along the
seaside to get gelato. Gi Gi always ordered watermelon. Roy, well she never really knew what he had. She asked herself if she would ask him again next Saturday, and staring at him with his shirt open that way… Well that makes the decision so easy.

Ted's Place Easy Decision Moscato is slightly sweet, lower in alcohol and incredibly easy to drink. Our Easy Decision Moscato has fresh fruit flavours that are very pleasing to your taste buds.

Kate and Dennis had a plan to finally remove the stigma of being Out of Towners.
They had worked extremely hard, eventually scoring the perfect beachside holiday pad. Everything was looking perfect. Almost!

Ted's Place Tourist Tan Shiraz has a rich and juicy mid-palate. You can expect to taste spicy flavours of sweet red fruit.
There is also a different feel on the palate; although strong on the front in the mouth and on the finish, it has a slightly different mid-palate feel.

Our Labels
We are proud that Andy Baker has created the art for our labels.
Our label artwork is not like what you would normally see on a wine bottle but rather a tongue in cheek view of the world. Wine should be shared and enjoyed with friends... friends with whom you can have fun.
The labels and stories reflect some rather interesting situations where one might say... Life is too short to drink bad wine!
Andy Baker, The Bald Art Company
The Bald Art Company's artist Andy Baker has been creating and producing artwork almost all his life. He is not one to sit still when it comes to his Art. Andy is always working on something new and developing his style.
His original artwork can be found in private collections all over the globe and in hundreds of homes around Australia.
He has exhibited his work both locally and interstate and has also held solo shows abroad. Andy's original artwork has since gone on to be released as limited edition prints in various formats.
